GIVE THE GIFT OF EDUCATION - Let's build a school.
The NoHo Arts Center for New Thought has joyously accepted the opportunity to build a school in Malawi in June, 2011. Malawi is an extremely impoverished nation located in the central southeast part of Africa. Cases of HIV/Aids are staggering and the opportunity for education is minimal.

The International Centers for Spiritual Living has partnered alongside BUILD-ON, a non-profit organization that focuses on education and building schools in developing areas of the world to improve the quality of life through learning. Our donations will fund the creation of a new school which will provide for a new generation in dire need of the gift of education.

Whether sharing the spirit of the holidays with your loved ones, or demonstrating your company's commitment to children around the world, there are a variety of giving opportunities that will help us reach our goal of $27,000.

For each tax-deductible donation of $12 (purchase a brick) or more, a beautiful acknowledgment card will be sent on your behalf sharing the story of the project and recognizing your holiday gift. A one-stop shopping for all of your gifting needs. Please contact Marcy Welland at 310-451-5795 to participate.

This is our time to AWAKEN HUMANITY TO IT'S SPIRITUAL MAGNIFICENCE, and of course... CHANGING LIVES FOR GOOD.

THE LABYRINTH CELEBRATION!
The Labyrinth is an ancient meditation tool over 4500 years old. It is a tradition that crosses all religions and cultures. Come join us in using the labyrinth for peaceful meditation, enlightenment, community sharing, and educational workshops.

The Labyrinth Celebration at NoHo has been in place for over three years. Annual events include Easter Sunrise and New Year's Eve Labyrinth walks. Labyrinth Walks are held monthly at various locations.

PRISON MINISTRY
The purpose of the Prison ministry is to afford inmates an opportunity for peaceful reflection and inner awareness through meditation, self-empowerment workshops, discussion and sharing.

NoHo New Thought Center is an established presence at the California Rehabilitation Center at Norco, where the Practitioner Corps has brought labyrinth walks and various workshops to the inmates for over three years.

In November of 2009, alongside the inmates, NHNT Practitioners built a permanent labyrinth at Norco. The Labyrinth was dedicated by Rev. James Mellon in November of 2009.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Board of Directors, NHNT will build another permanent labyrinth at Norco in June of 2010.

25 copies of Rev. James Mellon's book “Mental Muscle” and a Science of Mind™ Textbook have been donated to the California Rehabilitation Center at Norco.

LA FAMILY HOUSING

LA Family Housing's Mission is “... to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services.”

Beginning in January of 2010, NHNT has sent a corps of wonderful volunteers to LAFH every month to help with various projects.

Most recently volunteers taught self-empowerment workshops to the children and adults and brought a magic show to the younger children.

PLANS: To increase monthly participation as the volunteer force increases.
